REGISTRATION

[1.] When registering we prefer it if you sign up with your character's name as your login, but because it is possible for you to go into your profile and change it yourself, we aren't very anal about this. Still we feel this is a great way to keep your accounts organized for yourself when you have more than one character.

[2.] Please make sure that after character creation you change your display name to your characters FIRST and LAST name in all CAPITAL LETTERS. Groups will be assigned to you upon approval.

[3.] Only one character per account please.

GRAPHICS

[1.] Avatars must be 200x300 (width x height) and no smaller or larger. This keeps our forum in a uniform appearance.

[2.] Signatures can be any size that you want them to be, just please do not stretch our forum. If we find your signature is causing problems we will ask you to remove it and fix it.

[3.] All images must be of PG-13 nature with no inappropriate text in them. You will be warned if this occurs, the second offense or failure to listen will result in temporary to a lifetime ban from our forums.

ROLEPLAYING

[1.] We pride ourselves in being a literate role-playing forum. We do not allow chatspeak anywhere on the forum in or out of character.

[2.] Our word count is 200, not a difficult count to reach. We want you to be as creative as possible but we don't want to force you to go further than you are capable of. For the most part you set your own word count if you wish to exceed 250.

[3.] All members are required to create a biography and must be accepted before they can start roleplaying.

[4.] All posts must be in 3rd person for the majority of the posts, but a few 1st person sections are allowed for inner thoughts, introductions, stories, etc.

[5.] No god-modding, power-playing, or whatever it's called now. In short... no controling another person's character without their permission. If a person power-plays we assume that the other has given their consent for the actions to be done. Unless brought to our attention via PM, staff will not act upon these posts.

[6.] Similar to the above, the killing of another character isn't allowed unless consent is given.

[7.] As previously stated, we are a PG-13 site, and though some things are allowed such as minor curses and romantic involvement, if you feel you are about to go above that PG-13 mark, please 'fade to black' or 'timeskip'. If you are unsure of where to stop, contact a staff.

OUT OF CHARACTER

[1.] There will be no advertising anywhere on this forum except in the designated advertising areas.

[2.] Images are not to stretch the forum under no circumstances.

[3.] Be careful when linking to other sites. If you link our members to a site that results in them getting a virus or scammed, or to any illegal sites or pornographic sites, your thread will be removed, you will be banned, and we will report you to ProBoards staff for them to further investigate if they wish.
